Islamabad: An accountability court in Rawalpindi has adjourned the £190 MILLION reference against Pakistan Tereek-e-insAf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, until September 7.

The court headed by Judge Nasir Javed Rana conducted the proceedings in Adila Jail. BOTH PTI FOUNDER AND BUSHRA BIBI APPEARED DURING THE HEARING.

During the sense, the defense counsel cross-examined the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer, Mian umer Nadeem, regarding the case. The cross-examination is expected to continue in the next hearing.

Defense lawyers Usman Gul and Chaudhury Zaheer Abbas represent the coupe, while NAB’s prosecutor general Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi, Amjad Pervez & others appeared on behalf of the prosecution.

The court also announced that the reserved verdict on Bushra Bibi’s acquittal plea would be delivered alongside the decision in the £190 million reference.
